Bruce is currently choosing tunes and working on arrangements for his new CD. The album is scheduled for release in 2023. Producer for the project is Bruce's long-time friend and collaborator Louis deLise. The album will also include performances by veteran session players, Grant MacAvoy on drums, Chuggy Carter on percussion along with Vince Fay and Dave Batti on bass. The Grammy-nominated recordist, David Ivory, will engineer the sessions.
Lou has arranged and produced hit records for Patti LaBelle, William DeVaughn, SPiN, Fruit, Jon DeLise, Halestorm and many others. Bruce and Lou have collaborated on many studio projects over the years, including many jingles, TV themes, and Bruce's earlier album.

Bruce's first album, One Way Ticket, was released on Green Grape Records in 2010. Songs from One Way Ticket, as well as photos taken for the album, are available for preview at this site.
Bruce is also working on a new project with female vocalist Dana Fraser. New video and recordings are in progress.

The album features eight great McFarland originals and an all-star band featuring Vince Fay on bass (Arthur Prysock), Jimmy Young on drums (Frank Sinatra), guitarist Eric Bazilian (The Hooters) and Tom Adams (Bette Midler) and Lou deLise (Patti LaBelle) on piano. One Way Ticket was arranged and produced by deLise who conducts the 12-member Philadelphia Studio Strings on the project.
